The Foundation examination is conducted twice every year in May and November. Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test (CA CPT) was the primary stage of the Chartered Accountancy course. The CA CPT Exam was conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) till 2019. CA FOUNDATION EXAMINATION CA Foundation Examination is a gateway to enter the profession of Chartered Accountancy. Foundation Exam is open for candidates who have registered for the Foundation Course with the Board of Studies of the Institute on or before the last date for registration, i.e 1st January 2022 or converted from Common Proficiency Course to Foundation Course on or before 13th March 2022 and have Appeared in 12th class or equivalent recognized examination. This is a Descriptive cum Objective type examination of 400 marks comprising of four papers. These Guidance Notes are exclusively meant for the Foundation Exam to be held in MAY 2022 CA FOUNDATION EXAMINATION FOUNDATION EXAMINATION Important Dates :
· The last date of filing the application form with a late fee will be 20th March 2022. · The exam dates for the Foundation Course are 23rd, 25th, 27th and 29th May 2022. Click Here For CA CPT Online Mock test Series Eligibility criteria for the Foundation Examination to be held in MAY 2022: A candidate shall be eligible to appear in Foundation Examination scheduled to be held in MAY 2022, if he/she has: (i) Registered for Foundation Course with Board of Studies on or before 1st January 2022. OR (ii) Converted from CPT to Foundation Course with Board of Studies of ICAI on or before 13th March 2022. AND (iii) Should have appeared in the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination before appearing in Foundation Examination) conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognised by the Central Government (or the State Government) as equivalent thereto (for the purpose of admission to graduation course) and on complying with above Click Here For CA CPT Online Free Mock test Series ICAI has released the application form for the June session examination on 21st February 2022. Candidates must fill out the applications within the specified time to avoid the late fee. However, there is also a facility to fill the forms with a late fee. Applicants are required to submit the forms online only. CA CPT is only open to applicants registered with ICAI for the Common Proficiency Course and must meet the requisite eligibility criteria. The applicants should visit the official website of the ICAI and select the CA CPT Exam option. Once paid, the application fee will be non-refundable.
